Beaches of Cobb County

Located along the bank of the the Chattahoochee River, the 127 acre Chattahoochee Nature Center is an oasis of nature along side the Chattahoochee River and features hiking, live animal exhibits, educational programs, and more.

Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area
The Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is part of the National Park Service and is visited by more than three million visitors a year. The area spans a 48 mile stretch that includes over 6,000 acres of land. Along the way, numerous parks and historic sites afford a wide range of outdoor activities, including fishing, boating, hiking, and wildlife viewing.

Larry Bell Park
Larry Bell Park is a 46 acre park that combines fun, fitness, and a touch of theatrical flair.
Amenities include 4 baseball fields (Perry Parham Fields), batting cages, 2 playgrounds, a picnic pavilion, a concession building, 2 horseshoe pits, 2 Tennis courts, 6 pickleball courts, a track, the Central Aquatic Center, the Cobb Gymnastics Center, the Cobb Civic Center, and the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre. The park hosts many major events, including the Georgia Special Olympics and other sporting events.

Laurel Park
Laurel Park is a beautiful 25 acre park that has something for everyone.
