Schoolhouse Brewing
Founded by former middle school science teachers Thomas Monti and Justin Waller, Schoolhouse Brewing began in 2014 as bottle and growler shop with home-brewing supplies on Whitlock Avenue in Marietta. The success of the shop led to the formation of the full-scale brewery that opened in 2019.
They don’t have any flagship beers or core beers, so there is something new every time you visit. The brewery features 20 rotating draft beers that are completely new and open sourced, meaning they will give you the recipe so you can brew your own batch at home.
In addition, the brewery features the largest taproom in Marietta, as well as indoor and outdoor seating, games, 16 pinball machines at the Teacher’s Lounge Arcade, live music, food trucks, and special events. They are also the only brewery in the metro Atlanta area to feature a fully stocked homebrew supply store with all the ingredients, recipes, and equipment needed to brew any of their beers at home.
