Home About Marietta Marietta Moving Guide Grocery Stores

Grocery Stores

Marietta is home to numerous grocery stores that cater to all different tastes. With numerous locations each, Publix and Kroger are the most common grocery stores in the area. Publix is a southeastern chain of grocery stores with over 1000 locations across the southeast, known for their made-to-order deli sub sandwiches and southern fried chicken. Kroger is a larger chain with over 2000 locations nationwide, known for their loyalty program and low prices.

Also located in the area are the ever popular Trader Joes, Whole Foods, and Sprouts Farmers Market – all with a focus on quality produce, tasty prepared items, and natural and organic options. Additional chain grocery options in Marietta include Target Grocery, Walmart, Walmart Neighborhood Market, Lidl, and ALDI. There are also nearby locations of Costco, Sam’s Club, and BJ’s wholesale clubs.

Restaurant Depot

In addition to the membership bulk retailers like Costco, Sam’s Club, and BJ’s is Restaurant Depot, a membership bulk shopping option tailored specifically for food industry professionals. As its name suggests, Restaurant Depot specializes in providing bulk products for restaurants, coffee shops, bars, pizzerias, nightclubs, caterers, delis, foodservice distributors, and non-profit organizations. Membership is free for those affiliated with these businesses, but the general public can also shop there with a guest pass, available at the front desk upon entry. Shoppers will find a wide range of food and drink options at discounted prices, including fresh breads, produce, dry goods, refrigerated and frozen products, and more. They also stock a variety of kitchen items like pots, pans, knives, storage containers, utensils, and much more.  A quick note about the expansive refrigerated and frozen food section – if you choose to go in there, bring a jacket for a more comfortable shopping experience (yes really, even in the summer) as you will be walking inside a freezer.
