Ninth Annual Ride to Change the Future™

Ninth Annual Ride to Change the Future™, a six hour, 100-mile ride on indoor cycling equipment at the Midtown Athletic Club at Windy Hill. Proceeds fund research to find an early screening test for Ovarian Cancer. Training for the event begins the weekend of March 10th/11th at Atlanta area gyms. The final ride will be held April 21.

The Honorable Judge Conley Ingram will be discussing David Dosser’s book “Let Justice Be Done: The Life and Times of Justice J. Harold Hawkins”. Judge Hawkins’ life is the story of a truly self-made man who gave his best and was rewarded for his fidelity and service by the love and appreciation of all who knew him. Great Locomotive Chase Weekend

The Marietta History Museum will have special events to accompany the City of Marietta’s Observance of the 150th Anniversary of the Great Locomotive Chase. Re-enactors and living history characters will be on hand Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Special lectures regarding technology during the Civil War will be held on Saturday (times TBA).
