
A winter edition of the popular Marietta Square Farmers Market is open from 10am to 1pm every Saturday through March 31, 2012. The market is located on Mill Street just off the main square. The winter market will take place every Saturday rain or shine.
A total of 38 vendors will participate this year selling Georgia grown, Georgia made or Georgia produced products including local vegetables, lettuce, baked goods, bread, eggs, local honey, bacon, sausage, salami, cured meat, fish, rabbit, cheese, milk, pasta, pilaf, salsa, and more. Selling begins as each individual vendor sets up – no later than 10am – so get there early for the best selection.

10am to 1pm every Saturday through March 31, 2012
(the official hours are 10 to 1, however many of the vendors are set up and selling by 9am)
Parking:
FREE parking is available all day Saturday at the county parking decks, located at the corner of Lawrence and Waddell Streets, one block West of City Hall.

Join Santa and Mrs. Claus for the kick-off to the holiday season Thursday, December 1, 2011. Festivities start at 5 p.m. in Glover Park in the Historic Marietta Square. Local school choruses will perform Christmas carols as children visit with Santa in the gazebo until 8 p.m. Santa will light the giant Christmas tree, donated by Big John’s Christmas Trees, at 6 p.m.
