Whole Foods Market at Merchants Walk is having a grand opening celebration beginning Wednesday, July 27 and continuing on Friday July 29, Saturday July 30, and Sunday, July 31, 2011. Festivities begin with a free breakfast on Wednesday Morning at 8am open to everyone, followed by the traditional Whole Foods Bread Breaking Ceremony at 8:45am, and the doors open just after 9am. The first 500 shoppers receive reusable shopping bag and everyone can enjoy free samples and demos all day.

Grand opening day – Wednesday, July 27th, 2011
8am – Free breakfast
8:45am – Bread-breaking ceremony kicking off the celebration with special guests, community partners, and team members.
9am – Store opens and the first 500 shoppers receive a whole foods market reusable bag.
11am-3pm – Steel drum performance by Michael Dana.
All day – Free samples & demos throughout the store.

Friday, July 29th, 2011
12pm – Gift card madness.
All day – One day sale on Alaskan salmon reduced to $8.99lb – save $9. Fish monger and master cutter Keith Ellis will be cutting fresh wild Alaskan salmon to order until we run out.
All day – Fire & flavor grilling & Big Green Egg giveaway
All day – Free samples & demos throughout the store.

Saturday, July 30th, 2011
12pm-4pm – Steel drum performance by Michael Dana.
4pm – Cooking class with the cook’s warehouse – sign up for the cooking class at customer service.
All day – Cheer for beer! Sample one or all of the seasonal draft beers and get a free 64-oz growler container with the purchase of 64-ozs of draft beer.
All day – Free samples & demos throughout the store.

Sunday, July 31st, 2011
10am-2pm – Jazz brunch with live music
12pm-4pm – Kids day with fun activities and free goodies for the kids.
All day – Free samples & demos throughout the store.
