Cobb County Public Library’s Community Fest features crafts, games, vehicles, and family activities at Switzer Library during Fall Break. The event is designed as an easy afternoon outing for families, with activities spread across the two hour program.
Visitors can try crafts and giant games, explore library resources, and meet local organizations with information available for families. There will also be chances to enter raffle prize drawings during the event.
One of the featured attractions is a Touch a Truck exhibition, giving children a closer look at vehicles they may usually see from the sidewalk or through a car window. It adds a little horsepower to an afternoon at the library.
Community Fest also provides an opportunity to learn more about Cobb County Public Library and the programs and resources available through its branches. Switzer Library is the main location for the county library system and is located near Marietta Square on Roswell Street.
The Community Fest takes place during Cobb schools’ Fall Break.
