After a decade of baking up some of the area’s favorite slices, Pie Bar founders Lauren and Cody Bolden have officially sold their beloved business to new owner Dominie Garcia as of October 1, 2025.
With locations in Kennesaw, Marietta, and Woodstock, Pie Bar has become a familiar stop for flaky crusts, seasonal fillings, and a good cup of coffee. In a heartfelt Facebook post, Lauren shared, “Over the past 10 years, Pie Bar has gone from idea to start-up to growth-phase to covid to settling in/getting comfy… and now it is time for the next chapter.”
The Boldens plan to stay involved through the end of the year, working side by side with Garcia and the team to ensure a smooth transition and, as Lauren promised, “no shortage of delicious pie.”
Pie Bar’s story began as a small passion project in downtown Woodstock before expanding to multiple Cobb County locations. From its humble beginnings at farmers markets to its now well-loved brick-and-mortar shops, the business has built a strong following for its signature pies and warm, approachable atmosphere.
