Cobb County will mark America’s 250th anniversary with Cobb Celebrates 250 Years of Independence, a free patriotic event planned for Friday, June 26, from 5 pm to 10 pm at Jim R. Miller Park and Event Center in Marietta.
The evening will feature live entertainment, family-friendly activities, food trucks, vendors, displays, and a drone show at dusk. Guests can make an evening of it with dinner or sweet treats from on-site vendors, then settle in for the light show after sunset. It’s a Friday night with flags, snacks, and drones in the sky, which is about as 2026 as a birthday party can get.
Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating during the entertainment and drone show. Admission is free, and parking is free in the event center general parking lot. Overflow parking will be available in the North lot.
