Step into Marietta’s past with a guided ghost tour on Friday, September 26, 2025. Beginning at the William Root House, the walk covers downtown landmarks tied to legends and eerie tales. Local author Rosalind Bunn will lead the group, keeping the pace light while sharing stories that blend history with the supernatural.
The tour runs from 7 pm to 9 pm and is limited to 30 participants. Tickets are $50 per person, and every dollar benefits the Cobb Library Foundation. Expect an easy walking pace, a few spine-tingling stops, and plenty of historical detail. Comfortable shoes are recommended, and bringing a flashlight may add to the fun once the sun sets.
Beyond the thrills, the evening supports Cobb Library Foundation and its work throughout the county’s library system. By the time the final tale wraps up at the Reading Attic, you’ll have both chills and a deeper appreciation for Marietta’s history.
