Merchant’s Walk Library, located in East Cobb just off Johnson Ferry Road in Marietta, has moved to a new location. The new library is located at 4880 Lower Roswell Road in the Parkaire Mall shopping center in Marietta. The move to the new facility took place December 21, 2009 to January 31, 2010 and a temporary reduction in service was anticipated. This allowed staff to pack and relocate the more than 75,500 items in the collection. The new East Cobb Library is almost double the size and the largest branch library in Cobb at more than 16,850 square feet.

VERY SAD NEWS!!!!! Merchant Walk Library is always packed and is use by all the nearby residences. I don’t understand the reason for this move in location.
