Deep Roots Wine Market & Tasting Room is preparing to welcome wine lovers to Marietta Square. The new space, located at 107 Church Street in the former UpDog Smoothies & Juices spot next to Be Yoga, will feature an expanded selection of domestic and international wines available by the taste, glass, or bottle.

Owner Dana Gurela’s fascination with wine began during a 2009 trip to Napa. After moving to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2012, she attended wine school and worked in several wineries. “Deep Roots” reflects both the resilience of grapevines in the vineyard and the strong family ties that brought this concept back home to Georgia.

Deep Roots first opened in Roswell in 2018, followed by a second location in Downtown Woodstock in 2023. A franchise in Historic Chamblee debuted in December 2024. The Marietta Square location will carry over the market’s signature wine club, private event options, regular tasting events, and more.

Patrons can browse featured wines such as Aperture Cabernet Sauvignon and Aperture Chenin Blanc, shop an assortment of wine gifts and accessories, attend weekly and monthly events, and reserve the tasting room for private gatherings.

The Deep Roots Wine Club offers two tiers of membership with benefits like discounts, priority event access, and a number of wines to take home monthly. Club members can sample a curated selection wines each month and bring guests to share the experience.
