The 2014 First Friday Art Walk takes place in historic Marietta Square on the first Friday of each month from April to October. The Art Walk is a free, self guided tour showcasing local original art. Local artists are hosted by Marietta Square area restaurants, galleries, museums, venues and boutiques from 5pm to 9pm, rain or shine, and participating venues display an official Art Walk banner in their window.

Art Walk Maps:
An Art Walk Map can help you choose your own route through the over thirty merchants hosting artists in their stores. Maps can be picked up at each participating merchant (look for window banners), at Art Walk sidewalk signs, and from Ambassadors (wearing white aprons).

Tavern in the GARTen:
At the Tavern in the gARTen guests can purchase cold beverages, sit and enjoy live music, and watch art come alive. Cozy Atherton Square behind Cool Beans and Hemingways is the perfect unique backdrop for an uncommon experience. You can expect to see a variety of cultural performances from music to dance to visual art demonstrations. Be sure to stop by Tavern in the gARTen to relax and visit with friends while you check out the festivities.
