Attention job seekers: Cobb County, along with the City of Kennesaw, is hosting a Countywide Job Fair in May at the Jim R. Miller Park & Event Center. The event provides an excellent chance for those at all stages of their careers to connect with employers eager to expand their workforce.
Job seekers from throughout metro Atlanta are invited to network directly with local employers and experience firsthand why Cobb County has become known as “Where Talent Meets Opportunity.” The fair is set up to serve both adult job seekers and young people looking for work, with separate sections for each group.
In addition to Cobb County and Kennesaw, multiple organizations from around the county have confirmed attendance for the event, including representatives from Smyrna, Acworth, Town Center CID, Powder Springs, Marietta, Austell, and Mableton.
Jim Harner, Cobb County’s chief human resources officer, shared, “Cobb County offers tremendous potential, and this event is an ideal place for talented professionals to meet with companies that are actively hiring. Job seekers should arrive ready to network, interview, and explore available careers.”
