Rocky Horror Picture Show

For some late night fun, visit The Earl Smith Strand Theatre in Marietta Square on Saturday, September 3, 2011 for a midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Not just a movie, Rocky Horror Picture Show is an experience, a legend, and a cult tradition that has been passed down through generations. With a chorus of fans, this night will be no different.

In this wacky and tacky 1975 musical film, newlyweds Brad and Janet are blissfully in love – until their car breaks down in the rain. They look for help only to find themselves at the castle of the strange (possibly alien) Dr. Frank-N-Furter, who is in the process of bringing a monster “Rocky” to life. They are offered a place to stay, but do they dare?

The audience is invited to enjoy the movie in costume. Live organ pops variety show and sing-along featuring The Strand’s Mighty Allen Theatre Organ at 11:30pm. Tickets are $10. Personal props may not be brought in to the theatre; prop bags will be available for purchase for just $3. Individuals under 18 not admitted without parent or guardian.
