Advertisement Guidelines

Below you will find guidelines and specifications for the advertising opportunities offered by Marietta.com. If you are supplying your own ad, we ask that you submit creative 48 hours (2 business days) before placement. If you are using your company logo as your ad, we will resize it to fit your preferred ad size upon request. All content is subject to review and approval.

Ad Sizes:

Advertisements are offered in three main sizes illustrated below.

120 x 90

300 x 250

728 x 90

Ad Locations:

The 728 x 90 leaderboard is located to the right of the logo.  The 300 x 250 ad is located in the right sidebar, and the 120 x 90 ads are located below the navigation bar adjacent to the main page content.  Ad locations subject to availability.

Editorial (the fine print):

All advertising (subject matter, form, wording, illustrations and typography) submitted is subject to the approval of the Publisher. All display advertisements submitted to the Publisher must be clear and professional in appearance and plainly identify the name or logo of the Advertiser, Product, or Brand. Advertisers should avoid the use of repetition, gimmicky use of capitalization or punctuation, blurry images, illegible text, misleading content, adult content, illegal content, auto-expansion or animation. Advertising content that attacks, criticizes or demeans any individual, race, religion, sex, institution, firm, business, profession, organization or affectional preference shall not be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse any advertisers or advertisements that could have a possible negative impact on Marietta.com or our readers, as determined by management.The Publisher reserves the right to insert “Advertisement” above and/or below any copy.
