Strand Theatre Summer Movie Series – “To Kill a Mockingbird”

Written in 1960 and filmed in 1962, “To Kill a Mockingbird” has become a timeless classic. Perhaps Gregory Peck’s finest performance as Atticus Finch, a lawyer in the Depression-era South who defends a black man against an undeserved rape charge and his kids against prejudice. This movie should be in everyone’s dramatic top ten!

  1. James O'Kon says

It will be a pleasure to see Harper Lee’s Masterpiece in the same theatre where I met Tex Ritter in 1946. Memories of my youth.
