New experiences are taking flight at CNC. Join us as we celebrate our new Wildlife Walk and Woodland Trails experiences with a day of SOARING adventures:

Ribbon Cutting for the new Wildlife Walk and Woodland Trails Experience at 10:30am Be the first to enjoy these new experiences at CNC!

Meet the birds of Wings to S.O.A.R (Save Our American Raptors) as they rocket overhead in this exciting, free flighted bird of prey show. Native eagles, hawks, owls and even a vulture take the stage and the air to show you the importance of conserving these important birds.

Join our Wildlife Director, Kathryn Dudeck at 1pm, for a VIP tour of the Wildlife Walk Experience. Learn about the history of the animals that call CNC their home and about CNCs important wildlife rehabilitation mission.

Rockin’ Raptor Crafts (12 – 3pm) Lift off with your own wings and owl headwear. Make some cool raptor crafts to blend in with the birds of prey.

Paper Airplane Fly-off and Contest at 3pm – Show how you take flight. Fly your best homemade paper airplane in the fly-off where everyone’s airplane is a high flyer. Prizes awarded for longest distance flight, best trick and largest paper airplane.

Taking Flight featured in the Nature Exchange – discover the science behind bird flight and how humans have used this in airplane design. and how humans have used this in airplane design. Included with general admission
