Want to sneak a “behind-the-scenes” peek at the Earl Smith Strand Theatre? The Strand now offers guided tours of the historic theatre, event space, and rooftop terrace. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the theatre dating back to the 1930s, recent renovation efforts and fun facts about the theatre business.

Parking available and free around the Marietta Square. The Strand is also conveniently located next door to the Cobb County Parking Garage (between Cherokee and Waddell Streets). Parking is $3 before 5pm and free to the public on Mondays through Fridays after 5pm and all day on weekends. Cross Cherokee street and you’re at the Earl Smith Strand Theatre!

I am a “Red Hatter” and co chairman for an event next spring that we call “Hatapalooza”. It is a one day event for Red Hatters that involves some entertainment..shopping…eating..raffles…talent contest…hat contest..etc. We are presently looking for a location to have it. Is there any possibility the Strand could be used.
