Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park |
| Activities: |
Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park is a 2,884 acre park featuring over 17 miles of trails spanning from Kolb's Farm in Marietta to just north of the visitor's center in Kennesaw. Kennesaw mountain was home to some of the heaviest fighting of the Atlanta Campaign of the Civil War. At this national park, you can take a hike, watch the wildlife, take a picture, watch a living history demonstration, and more. The top of Kennesaw Mountain rises 1800 feet above sea level and provides spectacular views of downtown Atlanta and the surrounding area. |
